We knew we were onto something when we decided to make goat milk soap, which made our skin softer and better hydrated with every use.

That’s why we decided to expand our collection to create lip balms using the goodness of goat milk and other natural ingredients. Our lip balms are 100% chemical-free and will leave your lips with a radiant glow.

Find out why our Goat Milk Lip Balm is worth smiling about and explore tips to keep your lips healthy no matter what the weather looks like outside.

Goat Milk Lip Balm vs. Other Lip Balms

Like many cosmetics on the market, many lip balms contain humectants like hyaluronic acid and glycerin that pull moisture out of the skin, parabens that can wreak havoc in our bodies, and synthetic colors/fragrances that can cause skin sensitivity and irritation. Many dermatologists believe that some kinds of lip balm can actually make your lips drier. Checking out the label of other lip balms might surprise you with a list of ingredients you may have trouble pronouncing, a good indicator that they probably contain some toxic stuff.

In lieu of chemicals, our lip balm formula is rooted in all natural ingredients such as sweet almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax, avocado oil, cocoa butter, mango butter, and dehydrated goat milk.

If you’ve never tried goat milk lip balm or any other skincare made with goat milk, you’re in for a treat. Due to its abundance of lactic acid, moisturizing fatty acids, and probiotics, goat milk is extremely hydrating. It is also naturally exfoliating, which encourages healthy cell rejuvenation. These factors make it a powerful ingredient in soothing chapped lips and giving them a radiant glow.

Why Buy Goat Milk Lip Balm From Us?

Nestled on 36 acres in Scottsburg, Indiana, our family-run farm is home to Alpine Dairy Goats, Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats, and a number of other animals that help us thrive. While we know we are not the only farm producing soaps, lip balms, and other products made from goat milk, we do take pride in what sets our products apart.

When it comes to our lip balms, we are the only farm we know of that has successfully added goat milk to their lip balm recipe. It is not safe to use fluid goat milk in lip balm (because of possible bacterial growth) and so we use dehydrated goat milk. But if you simply add dehydrated goat milk to your lip balm, it creates a grainy finished product. After months of research & development, we created a proprietary process that incorporates the dehydrated goat milk (without the use of any chemical or unwanted ingredients) and leaves you with a smooth and soft finished lip balm.

We also ensure that all the other ingredients used in our lip balms are just as pure and are complementary to goat milk. We don’t believe in fillers; every single ingredient in our balms is thoughtfully chosen for its nourishing effects.

Our Tips for Your Lips

  1. Stop The Reaction Many people find themselves applying and reapplying lip balm. This need to reapply can be caused by an irritant or allergy to an ingredient in the conventional lip balm you are currently using. A natural lip balm has less potential allergens, using ingredients like beeswax and natural oils to lock in moisture instead of chemicals.
  2. Stop Licking Your Lips Licking your lips may seem like an easy way to moisten them, but saliva does not moisturize. In fact, between the enzymes in saliva and the fact that it evaporates quickly, you’re actually reducing the hydration of your lips every time you lick them. Many other lip balms use sugar in their product for a sweet taste, but this only increases the inclination to lick. Our Goat Milk Lip Balms are 100% sugar-free.
  3. Remove Harsh Ingredients Many commercial lip products have harsh chemicals, strong fragrances, and harmful preservatives. Finding a natural lip balm without any of those ingredients can reduce irritation and moisturize naturally.
  4. Stay Hydrated It may seem overly simple, but staying hydrated will improve the health of your lips. Dehydration is one of the leading causes of dry, chapped lips, so drinking enough water can make a huge difference.
  5. Switch to Goat Milk Stuff Lip Balm Our simple, natural, handcrafted lip balms with dehydrated goat milk have helped thousands of satisfied customers improve their chapped lips. Find your favorite flavor and try them today!

Lip Balm Frequently Asked Questions

Does Goat Milk Lip Balm Expire?

Our Goat Milk Lip Balms have a shelf life of around one year, though some customers have used them for much longer. If you’re not currently using the lip balm, we suggest storing it out of direct heat and humidity.

What Does Goat Milk Lip Balm Do for Your Lips?

Our Goat Milk Lip Balm features food-grade, natural moisturizers with added goat milk instead of waxy or greasy petroleum-based ingredients that many mass-market lip balms rely on. This formulation leaves your lips silky, smooth, and protected from any type of weather.

How Often Should You Apply Goat Milk Lip Balm?

You may find that you don’t have to apply our Goat Milk Lip Balm often because of its effective ability to lock in moisture. However, it is safe to apply liberally as often as you want, because there are no harsh chemicals whatsoever.

Is There Any Tint to These Goat Milk Lip Balms?

There is no tint to these goat milk lip balms, unless you consider the gleam of healthy lips a “tint.”

Is Goat Milk Lip Balm Safe for Children?

We know lots of children who love applying lip balm, including our grandchildren. But children - especially younger children - aren’t always the best at applying it. If your child is also obsessed with lip balm and ends up ingesting a fair amount of it, you don’t have to worry. While we don’t recommend eating our lip balm, due to the natural, food-grade ingredients, your child should not have any side effects from applying too much lip balm. If you find yourself with this problem, choosing an unscented lip balm for your child may also be a wise decision.
